In lightning, from app launcher, it's possible to access calendar.

Salesforce app launcher community. Is there a way to remove the calendar link from there ? This functionality currently is supported in mobile app and not in ipad. A forcecommunity:applauncher component represents an app launcher icon.

I personally find the previous one more practical becuase i didn't have to use my keyboard and 'let go of the mouse' to find the object i'd like to access. When we login to salesforce mobile app in ipad, we were not able to find app launcher. In salesforce classic, i was able to change the home page layout in order not to display calendar features. Hey guys, i've created a custom lightning app but it won't show in the lightning app launcher even though it's visible in app launcher.

So, if you want to see the connected app, you can click the tab which will redirect to the connected app page. It only takes a minute to sign up. Only custom objects with tab appears on the all item section of the app launcher.
